This sculpture has been named 'Everything is nothing' by Ricky Swallow. This lifelike wood sculpture was left blank but has a very well polished finish to achieve some rendering effects. The sculpture was hand-carved out of a single block of wood with traditional techniques. It was carved out of imagination and no sketch had been done to guide the artist as to which shape and details the sculpture would take. Ricky Swallow particularly concentrated on the lighting of the sculpture in display because according to him, it helps enhance the form of the sculpture and the process in which he produced it.

This panel-work by Patricia Piccinini was named ‘Radium’ and was in the ‘Unbreaking Eggs’ exhibition in 2005. The panels have a metallic looking touch due to its cool colour tone and reflective nature. There are nine square panels in the piece with 50x50cm diameter all with different but connected designs. In the process of making these panels, Piccinini would have put the ideas into drawing first, then turn them into a three dimensional representation of both the materiality and physical form that she visualised. The material for this piece might have been either metal or polyester which was then painted with the designated colours. The lighting is also an important compositional factor of this piece for the its shininess can only express itself with the correct lighting effect.
