One night while watching the news, I saw a school’s emblem and that gave me the urge to make one for myself. I started sketching on paper then draw it on the computer. I did not have any software to draw so I just used the traditional Paint. I did not really like the pixellated image but it does turn out to be something very close to my sketch. I made the second one for my friend and that took one third the time. The Latin message under the shield on my emblem is ‘VT DESINT VIRES TAMEN EST LAVDANDA VOLVNTAS’ (even though the power is missing, the will should be praised) and on my friend’s was ‘EGO NON TANVM VTOR TOTVS METALVS VT EGO HABO TAMEN QVICVMQVE MOVBILIS’ (I not only use my brain but also use others’ ) – they are just there to make the crests look archaic even though my designs are not intended to be medieval. (to those who know Latin, you don’t need to tell me how bad my Latin was)
